Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer
About The Position
At St. Luke’s, imaging professionals work in a workplace culture that values diversity, collaboration, employee well-being, and patient-centered care. This role fills scheduling gaps on a flexible, PRN basis, with rotating days across multiple locations. The schedule is day shift, with no on-call or night-shift requirement and six weekend shifts per year. The typical workload is 6–7 patients per day. The patient population includes adults, pediatric patients, congenital cases, and CVOR patients. The role uses Philips IE33 and Epiq CVx equipment, Epic EMR, and Philips Intellispace Cardiovascular PACS. New graduates are welcome. The position is based in Boise, Idaho.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in lieu of the degree.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification through the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) certification or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac imaging for a patient population that includes adults, pediatric patients, congenital cases, and CVOR patients.
- Fill scheduling gaps by working rotating days across multiple locations.
- Handle a typical workload of 6–7 patients per day.
