About The Position

Responsible for independently performing all general and specialized radiographic procedures for a group of patients based on policies and procedures. The role involves work in the Cardiac Catheterization/Electrophysiology Lab and requires relevant imaging experience or Cath/EP Lab experience. PIH Health is a nonprofit regional healthcare network serving approximately 3 million residents in Los Angeles County, Orange County, and the San Gabriel Valley. The network includes three hospitals, outpatient medical office buildings, a multispecialty physician group, home healthcare and hospice services, and a range of specialty and urgent and emergency care services. Requirements

At least five years of radiological imaging experience in an acute care hospital, including critical care, and proficiency in one of the listed additional imaging-related modalities (CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, or special procedures), with three years of experience in that additional modality; alternatively, one year of Cath/EP Lab experience.

Responsibilities

Independently perform general and specialized radiographic procedures for a group of patients in accordance with policies and procedures.
Perform or support arterial and venous catheter/sheath removal.
Perform or support intra-aortic balloon insertion.
Perform Cath/EP Lab procedures.
Perform peripheral and coronary angioplasty procedures.
