About The Position
Somnia Anesthesia is seeking Cardiac Anesthesiologists to join their growing team at Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana, CA. This is a part-time, W2 position with a compensation of $325/hour. The practice environment is a safety net hospital with 4 ORs, 282 beds, a Level II Trauma Center, and a Level III NICU. The hospital offers a wide range of surgical services including trauma, cardiac, obstetric, and general procedures. Orange County Global Medical Center is an active, high-acuity anesthesia practice in a fast-paced surgical environment. The location in Santa Ana, California, provides excellent access to beaches, Los Angeles, mountains, and attractions like Disneyland.
Requirements
- Active state license
- DEA license
- State CDS license
- Board certification or board eligible if in process
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for cardiac procedures.
- Participate in a care team model with physicians and CRNAs.
- Handle 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts.
- Provide 24-hour call coverage (pager).
- Support a high-acuity anesthesia practice in a fast-paced surgical environment.
