About The Position
Somnia Anesthesia is seeking Cardiac Anesthesiologists to join their growing team at Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana, CA. This is a per diem position with a compensation of $325/hour. The practice environment is a safety net hospital with 4 ORs, 282 beds, a Level II Trauma Center, and a Level III NICU. The hospital offers consistent case volume, complex pathology, and a collaborative care team, making it an ideal opportunity for Anesthesiologists seeking a practice with strong clinical variety and professional stability. Orange County Global Medical Center is located near the Pacific Coast, offering access to beaches, dining, entertainment, and outdoor recreation.
Requirements
- Active state license
- DEA
- State CDS
- Board certification or Board eligible if in process
- ACLS
- PALS
- BLS
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for cardiac cases.
- Collaborate with the care team, which includes physicians and CRNAs.
- Handle OB call (pager) for per diem physicians.
- Support a wide range of surgical services including Level II Trauma & Emergency Surgery, Advanced Cardiac & STEMI Cases, Obstetric, Maternal & Neonatal Care, Burn Center & Trauma Support, and General, Orthopedic, Vascular, ENT, and Urologic Procedures.
