About The Position

C.A. Fortune is a national consumer-centric integrated commerce agency focused on helping brands succeed at retail. We offer integrated services including sales strategy, in-store execution, marketing, and digital commerce. The Grocery Merchandiser will manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks, utilizing provided technology for reporting and photo uploads. This role involves merchandising and the physical ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds. The position is part-time, 24 hours a week, 3 days a week, with a compensation of $20 per hour. Responsibilities include pre-selling, merchandising, gaining/maintaining distribution, ensuring products are well-stocked, and using mobile apps for reporting and communication. The role requires switching between tasks like stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams, and the ability to lift, bend, and stoop for extended periods. It is an independent role requiring strong communication skills.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation
Valid Driver License
Proof of Automobile insurance
Reliable phone (within 5 years old) service and internet service for daily communication.
Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks & audits at local grocery retailers.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
Ability to lift, bend/stoop for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, retail environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks.
Take pictures and complete reporting requirements with provided technology.
Perform merchandising duties.
Pre-sell products, merchandise, and gain/maintain distribution within various accounts.
Ensure clients' products are well-stocked and order if product is not in stock or low.
Consistently use mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
Switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams.
Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
Order products and work product to shelves from new orders.
Conduct audits in area grocery stores.
Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
Verify that clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves.
Maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores.
Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team.
Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.
