About The Position

Somnia Anesthesia, a physician-owned, clinician-led anesthesia group, is seeking full-time Cardiac Anesthesiologists to join their growing team at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, CA. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, and new graduates are welcome. The practice environment includes St. John's Regional Medical Center with 6 ORs running, IR, ENDO, and Cath Lab/Cardiac, and Dignity St. John Camarillo with 3 ORs and 1 Cath lab. The position involves call coverage, with cardiac call and open hearts staffed by cardiac anesthesia physicians. Scheduling is flexible with a variety of shifts (8s/10s/12s), and typical days not on call are scheduled from 7 am to 5 pm. All call is from home once cases are completed. MDs work their own cases with a collaborative approach to CRNAs, and CRNAs do their own cases. OB call is covered by a separate provider.

Requirements

• Current CA license
• Cardiac fellowship
• BC required
• BLS/ACLS/PALS

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for cardiac procedures.
• Participate in call coverage, including cardiac call and open hearts.
• Collaborate with CRNAs.
• Work flexible shifts including 8s, 10s, and 12s.
