Physician: Cardiac Anesthesiologist - NM Palos Hospital
About The Position
Provide patient care in adult cardiothoracic and general anesthesiology at Northwestern Medical Group and at hospitals, offices, and healthcare facilities as assigned. Maintain a clinical schedule at the days, hours, and locations needed to provide timely, comprehensive medical services to patients. Teach medical residents, fellows, medical students, nurses, and other healthcare providers as required. Provide on-call coverage as reasonably required. Refer patients who need specialized care to providers and facilities in Northwestern Medical Group’s affiliated network, while respecting patient preference, insurer determinations, and the patient’s best medical interests. Participate regularly in practice unit meetings and quality assurance activities. Comply with billing, documentation, and related policies and procedures established by Northwestern Medical Group and its contracted payors. Perform other duties consistent with the position as assigned by the President of Northwestern Medical Group or designee.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree or professional degree.
- Completion of subspecialty fellowship training in cardiac anesthesia.
