About The Position

We are seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a permanent position in Albany, NY. This inpatient role involves clinical duties and call coverage, with shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours. The call schedule is 1:5, with first call every eighth night and no second call. The practice includes 3 Cardiac Surgeons and covers adult, geriatric, and some pediatric patients. Case mix includes Cardiac & Vascular procedures, but no OB or Trauma. Required procedures include General & Regional Anesthesia. The facility has 30 ORs. This position is open to H-1B visa candidates and does not require CRNA supervision.

Requirements

• Active NY license or willingness to obtain.
• BC/BE.
• BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications.
• Echo Board Certified and/or Cardiac Fellowship-Trained.
• NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage in Cardiac Anesthesiology.
• Participate in call schedule (1:5 ratio, first call every eighth night).
• Administer General & Regional Anesthesia.
• Cover Cardiac & Vascular cases.
• Handle adult, geriatric, and some pediatric patients.
