About The Position

This is a locum tenens position for a Cardiac Anesthesiologist at a Level III trauma hospital in Richmond, IN. The role involves clinical coverage for regular OR cases from Monday to Thursday, and inpatient cardiac call from December 24th to December 28th, 2026. The position also includes holiday call coverage for December 24th-25th. The anesthesiologist will primarily serve adult cardiac surgical patients, with a case mix including cardiac and general anesthesia. The facility has over 220 beds and uses the Epic EMR system. This coverage is needed due to vacation.

Requirements

• Active Indiana License or IMLC
• Cardiac Fellowship Trained
• BC/BE
• BLS Required
• ACLS if requesting conscious sedation privileges
• Procedure Logs (12 months)
• Cardiac Anesthesia
• Adult & Pediatric General Anesthesia
• Central and Arterial Lines
• PA Catheter Placement
• Bronchoscopy

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac anesthesia services
• Cover inpatient cardiac call
• Perform advanced anesthesia procedures
• Document in Epic
• Complete Vemsta timekeeping and order entry
• Supervise CRNAs
