Car Wash Site Manager A
About The Position
The Car Wash Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a car wash site, including staff management, sales growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and operational procedures. This role requires strong leadership, team building, sales, and customer service skills. The manager must be able to operate with minimal supervision and ensure the site follows all approved safety and vehicle damage claim procedures. Requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills including active listening.
- Experience with team building.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a management role.
- An unexpired Driver’s License is required.
- A motor vehicle record check “MVR” will be run on the successful candidate post-offer.
Nice To Haves
- Some college preferred.
- Candidates with supervisory or assistant manager experience from a Big box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Successfully recruit and onboard new employees.
- Train and coach staff.
- Schedule employee shifts, with strict adherence to overtime policies.
- Perform activities around employee engagement, performance management, and recognition.
- Maintain a focus on growing sales volume and increasing site profitability.
- Manage operating P&L metrics and understands how expenditures/costs impact business margins and pricing.
- Ensure that customers are satisfied and that any inquiries, incidents and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensure the site follows all approved safety procedures.
- Ensure the site follows all approved vehicle damage claim procedures.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
