About The Position

This Car Wash Site Manager A position is responsible for the successful operation of a car wash site. Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, and coaching employees, managing shifts, and overseeing employee engagement and performance. The manager will focus on growing sales volume, increasing site profitability, and managing P&L metrics. Ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving inquiries, incidents, and issues in a timely manner is crucial. The role also involves ensuring strict adherence to all approved safety procedures and vehicle damage claim procedures. Requirements

  • Strong leadership and communication skills including active listening
  • Experience with team building
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong work ethic and professional attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a management role
  • Candidates with supervisory or assistant manager experience from a Big box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply
  • An unexpired Driver’s License is required
  • A motor vehicle record check “MVR” will be run on the successful candidate post-offer

Responsibilities

  • Ability to successfully recruit and onboard new employees, train and coach staff, schedule employee shifts, with strict adherence to overtime policies, perform activities around employee engagement, performance management, and recognition
  • Maintain a focus on growing sales volume and increasing site profitability
  • Manage operating P&L metrics and understands how expenditures/costs impact business margins and pricing
  • Ensure that customers are satisfied and that any inquiries, incidents and issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensure the site follows all approved safety procedures
  • Ensure the site follows all approved vehicle damage claim procedures
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
