About The Position

The Car Wash Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a car wash site, focusing on growing sales volume, increasing site profitability, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves managing a team, including recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management, while strictly adhering to overtime policies. The manager must maintain a strong focus on operational efficiency, safety procedures, and vehicle damage claim protocols.

Requirements

Strong leadership and communication skills including active listening.
Experience with team building.
Excellent sales and customer service skills.
Ability to anticipate customer needs.
Proficient computer skills.
Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a management role.
An unexpired Driver’s License is required.
A motor vehicle record check “MVR” will be run on the successful candidate post-offer.

Nice To Haves

Some college preferred.
Supervisory or assistant manager experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Successfully recruit and onboard new employees.
Train and coach staff.
Schedule employee shifts with strict adherence to overtime policies.
Perform activities around employee engagement, performance management, and recognition.
Maintain a focus on growing sales volume and increasing site profitability.
Manage operating P&L metrics and understands how expenditures/costs impact business margins and pricing.
Ensure that customers are satisfied and that any inquiries, incidents and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Ensure the site follows all approved safety procedures.
Ensure the site follows all approved vehicle damage claim procedures.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
