About The Position

The Car Wash Site Attendant is responsible for the appearance, cleanliness, and customer-facing presentation of assigned car wash sites. This role ensures that customers have a positive visual experience from the moment they arrive, through maintaining clean sites, functional vacuums, and tidy lots. The attendant also acts as a visual inspector, identifying and reporting any issues with equipment, signage, or property. This position offers a growth path into a Car Wash Technician Apprentice role for those who demonstrate ownership, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn.

Requirements

  • Reliable personal vehicle required if covering multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Keep assigned car wash properties clean and presentable at all times, ensuring no customer has a reason to comment on the site being dirty.
  • Pick up trash across the entire lot, including parking areas, vacuum islands, entrances, and around bays, and empty trash cans before they overflow.
  • Maintain vacuum islands by hanging up hoses, replacing damaged ones, and keeping the area clean and presentable.
  • Pressure wash bays, clean bay walls, clear drains of mud and debris, and maintain clean bay floors.
  • Wipe down payment kiosks, change machines, vending equipment, and signage, ensuring they are free of cobwebs, dust, and grime.
  • Remove stickers, graffiti, and vandalism promptly.
  • Keep parking lots blown off and free of trash and debris.
  • Maintain landscaping, including pulling weeds and trimming overgrowth.
  • Keep the dumpster area contained and clean.
  • Visually inspect equipment, signage, and property for any broken, leaking, damaged, malfunctioning, or out-of-place items.
  • Document any identified problems.
  • Visit assigned sites on a regular schedule, with frequency varying based on site needs.
  • Plan efficient routes for multi-site coverage.
