About The Position

The Car Wash Manager (CWM) is responsible for the overall operation of a professional car wash facility, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and consistent execution of company standards. The CWM is accountable for completing all tasks assigned by the District Manager or Director of Car Wash Operations, leading and developing their team, driving sales performance, and maintaining equipment, safety, and compliance standards. The CWM plays a critical leadership role by setting expectations, modeling professional behavior, and ensuring a high-quality experience for both customers and employees.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing employees, schedules, and daily operations
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn car wash equipment and maintenance procedures
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements and work environment conditions outlined in this job description
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience managing a car wash, automotive service, retail, or hospitality operation
  • Experience driving sales goals, memberships, or subscription-based programs
  • Prior responsibility for cash handling, reconciliation, or loss prevention
  • Experience with labor scheduling, payroll oversight, and performance management
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and equipment troubleshooting
  • Experience training and coaching employees in customer service and sales techniques
  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices and compliance in an operational environment
