About The Position

ClearWater Express Wash and BlueWave Express Wash are looking for skilled and dependable Maintenance Technicians to support equipment and facilities across our Texas car wash locations. This is a hands-on role focused on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical repairs, equipment repair, facility maintenance, and emergency service. The Maintenance Technician helps minimize equipment downtime and keeps our locations operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. This position is a great fit for candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, equipment repair, automotive service, manufacturing, facilities maintenance, or skilled trades.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance, equipment repair, industrial maintenance, mechanical or electrical maintenance, facilities maintenance, automotive service, manufacturing, or a related skilled trade.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel between multiple locations within your assigned Texas region.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and routine maintenance on commercial car wash equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Repair, replace, and adjust equipment components.
  • Maintain pumps, motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, sensors, valves, plumbing, and related systems.
  • Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they become major repairs.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance needs.
  • Assist with installation, setup, and maintenance of new equipment.
  • Complete general building and facility repairs.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing, lighting, doors, fixtures, drainage, and other facility issues.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Document repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
  • Track parts and supplies needed for repairs.
  • Communicate equipment concerns and recurring issues to leadership.
  • Identify recurring problems and recommend long-term solutions.
