About The Position

The Car Wash Technician maintains and repairs automatic and tunnel car wash equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, water, filtration, and chemical systems. Conducts inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and test washes to ensure safe and reliable operation. Coordinates with vendors and site management, maintains parts and chemical inventories, tracks service records and costs, and responds promptly to work orders.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • 3 years of experience in industry or equivalent experience in related repair roles.
  • Must possess knowledge of plumbing, electrical (low and high voltage) hydraulics, pneumatics and pumps.
  • Ability to read and understand blue prints and equipment schematics is required.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environment year round is required.
  • Ability to work on ladders and at heights is required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots car wash equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, water, filtration, and chemical systems.
  • Performs daily inspections, test washes, and scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Manages chemical and parts inventories, monitors product usage and costs, and maintains accurate service records.
  • Responds to work orders, identifies equipment failures, and coordinates repairs with site management and outside vendors.
  • Maintains current equipment knowledge through manufacturer training and keeps the service vehicle stocked and organized.
