About The Position

Rogers Motors is hiring full-time Car Wash/Lot Attendants for its dealerships in Hermiston, Oregon. Rogers Motors is a family-owned business that has served the local community for over 55 years and provides training, mentoring, coaching, and support. Applicants must pass a background check and drug test and have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable safe driving record. This is a physically demanding position involving standing for six to eight hours per shift and lifting parts weighing up to 50 pounds several times per shift. The attendant will drive vehicles and may be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Requirements

Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Good judgment.
Good physical condition.
Hard-working attitude and flexibility to serve the customer and dealership as required.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
Ability to stand six to eight hours per shift and lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds several times during each shift.
Ability to drive vehicles and work around noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

Greet customers professionally and in a friendly manner, following Rogers Way Initial Contact Work Instructions.
Spray specific areas of vehicles with water and soap before they enter the car wash.
Wash vehicles by hand.
Confirm each vehicle’s exterior is clean after the car wash and address areas that were not cleaned effectively.
Keep the car wash area clean and free of hazards, and keep the facility and areas used in Service and Car Wash organized and optimized for car wash activities.
Vacuum vehicles as required.
Return keys to the Service Advisor or Sales Professional.
