Car Wash Detailer - Springfield, MA
About The Position
The Car Wash Detailer delivers excellent customer service through positive interactions and answering questions. The role maintains a clean and organized workplace and provides vehicle-detailing services according to company training and standard guidelines. Detailers complete work correctly and on time for each service visit, cleaning and washing vehicle interiors and exteriors. Duties include vacuuming dirt and debris, cleaning upholstery, rugs, and other interior surfaces with cleaning products and devices, and applying revitalizers, preservation products, and fabric treatments to protect vehicle interiors. The position may require open and/or closing shifts, work in various weather conditions, and other duties as assigned by the Detail Manager.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a current, valid driver's license and an acceptable insurability rating.
- Be a team player.
- Be able to provide excellent customer service.
- Be detail-oriented.
- Be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Be able to work in various weather conditions.
- Be able to perform the physical duties of the job, including sitting, standing, walking, handling and feeling with the hands and fingers, reaching, talking, and hearing; may occasionally need to stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift or exert force up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service, including positive interactions and answering questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace around the facility.
- Provide quality detail services in accordance with company training and standard guidelines.
- Complete jobs correctly and on time for every service visit.
- Clean and wash the interior and exterior of customer vehicles.
- Vacuum vehicle interiors to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other interior surfaces using cleaning products and devices.
- Apply revitalizer and preservation products to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
- Be available for potential open and/or closing shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Detail Manager.
