Car Wash Associate - Cromwell, CT
About The Position
The Car Wash Associate greets customers at the payment station and tunnel, directs drivers onto the conveyor, and provides positive, helpful customer service. The role also manages customer accounts, updates credit card information, sells memberships for potential commissions, and processes payments for customers who pay inside. Associates help maintain a clean and organized facility, including the vacuum area and restrooms, attend team meetings, and assist the detail department as needed. Other duties may be assigned by the Manager. Availability for potential opening and/or closing shifts is required. The position involves working in various weather conditions and may require standing for long periods.
Requirements
- Be a team player.

- Must be 18 or older.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they drive up to the payment station and tunnels.
- Direct and instruct drivers onto the tunnel conveyor.
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering customer questions and maintaining positive interactions.
- Manage customer accounts, including updating credit card information and upselling.
- Operate the cash register and process payments inside for customers who do not drive up.
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace around the facility.
- Empty trash cans around the vacuum site and facility.
- Maintain clean restrooms.
- Attend team meetings.
- Assist the detail department as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
