Car Wash Assistant Manager 1
About The Position
The Car Wash Assistant Manager functions as the manager in charge when the Site Manager is unavailable. This role is responsible for ordering and stocking vending, providing training to new hires, and ensuring adherence to opening/closing checklists and proper loading techniques. The Assistant Manager also trains the team on Fast Pass sales techniques, professionally handles voicemails and emails, and creates effective schedules. A thorough understanding of the car wash vacuum system operation and cleaning procedures (including pressure washing) is required. The role supports the Site Manager during monthly team meetings, assists with on-site Supervisor Courses, and supervises teammates completing PM tasks, assessing the need for further training. The GSR Daily Breakdown must also be completed.
Requirements
- High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred.
- Leadership and communication skills including active listening.
- Experience with team building.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong work ethics and professional attitude.
- Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role.
- Candidates with supervisory experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply.
- Must be capable of performing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as, but not limited to hearing, eye, foot, hand protection.

Responsibilities
