About The Position

This role functions as the manager in charge when the Site Manager is unavailable. The Assistant Manager is responsible for ordering and stocking vending, providing training to new hires, and ensuring the team is proficient in opening/closing procedures, loading techniques, and Fast Pass sales. The position requires professional communication via voicemail and email, the ability to create effective schedules, and complete knowledge of the car wash vacuum system, including cleaning it via pressure washing. The Assistant Manager will also support the Site Manager during monthly team meetings, assist with on-site Supervisor Courses, supervise teammates completing PM tasks, assess training needs, and complete the GSR Daily Breakdown.

Requirements

High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred.
Leadership and communication skills including active listening.
Experience with team building.
Excellent sales and customer service skills.
Ability to anticipate customer needs.
Proficient computer skills.
Strong work ethics and professional attitude.
Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role.
Candidates with supervisory experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply.
Must be able to work in damp and humid conditions.
Must be able to work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
Must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50lbs.
Must be capable of performing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols.
Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as, but not limited to hearing, eye, foot, hand protection.

Responsibilities

Support the Site Manager during monthly team meetings.
Assist with on-site Supervisor Courses.
Supervise teammates completing PM and assess if further training is needed.
Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown.
