Car Wash Assistant Manager Level 1
About The Position
The Car Wash Assistant Manager Level 1 is responsible for functioning as the manager in charge when the Site Manager is unavailable. This role involves ordering and stocking vending supplies, providing training to new hires on opening/closing procedures, loading techniques, and Fast Pass sales. The Assistant Manager will professionally handle voicemails and emails, create effective schedules, and possess complete knowledge of the car wash vacuum system, including cleaning it. They will also support the Site Manager during monthly team meetings, assist with on-site Supervisor Courses, supervise teammates completing PM tasks, assess training needs, and complete the GSR Daily Breakdown.
Requirements
- High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred.
- Leadership and communication skills including active listening.
- Experience with team building.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong work ethics and professional attitude.
- Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role.
- Candidates with supervisory experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply.
- Must be capable of performing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as, but not limited to hearing, eye, foot, hand protection.

- Supervisory experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store.
Responsibilities

- Able to clean the vacuum system (pressure washing the system).
- Support the Site Manager during monthly team meetings.
- Assist with on-site Supervisor Courses.
- Supervise teammates completing PM and assess if further training is needed.
- Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown.
