About The Position
Enterprise Mobility is hiring a Car Sales Automotive Detailer to clean the interior and exterior of used vehicles and refurbish them in preparation for sale. The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans to meet the company’s cleanliness and safety standards. The position pays $17 per hour and is located at 10750 State Route 30, Irwin, PA 15642. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for a consistent 40-hour workweek. Work is performed outside in varied weather and temperatures, as well as in a typical office environment. The employee must maintain a professional appearance, follow uniform and personal protective equipment requirements, and comply with local environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
- Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past three years.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
- Polish, wax, and buff vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
- Vacuum vehicle interiors, including floors, seats, ashtrays, and trunks.
- Shampoo or clean carpets, floor mats, and upholstery.
- Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
- Use detailing methods such as wet sanding and clay bar treatment when needed.
- Apply engine degreaser to engines.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Maintain a professional appearance and comply with uniform and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Adhere to local environmental regulations.
- Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
