About The Position

Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Cookie Crew Delivery Driver to deliver orders and provide friendly hospitality to guests. The role combines driving with bakery work: between deliveries, the driver helps prepare orders, welcome guests, and keep the bakery operating smoothly. Drivers help ensure that orders arrive warm and complete while contributing to a positive guest experience.

The position splits time between the bakery and the road. Bakery work takes place in a fast-paced setting with ovens, refrigeration equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise. Delivery work involves driving in varying weather and traffic conditions while following safety policies and traffic laws. Availability is needed during peak business hours, including evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays; scheduling needs vary by location.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements.
• Current auto insurance meeting state minimum requirements.
• Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications.
• Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to drive safely for extended periods, frequently enter and exit a vehicle, and stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and around ovens, refrigeration equipment, and moderate bakery noise.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Insomnia Cookies orders safely, accurately, and with a smile.
• Ensure orders arrive warm, complete, and ready to impress.
• Navigate efficiently using GPS and delivery technology while following safe driving practices.
• Welcome bakery guests and provide friendly service between deliveries.
• Assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing delivery and pickup orders.
• Help bake and package cookies and other treats as needed.
• Operate the register and process guest transactions.
• Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe.
• Work closely with the bakery team to keep orders moving quickly and accurately.
• Help create a positive guest experience that encourages repeat visits.
