About The Position
As a Car Buyer, you will identify and develop new buying opportunities with car dealerships, towing companies, and automotive auctions. This role is critical to expanding our vehicle inventory and supporting our mission of delivering quality recycled automotive parts to customers nationwide.
Requirements
- Basic automotive knowledge required
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to prospect and build relationships
- Ability to travel locally, typically within one hour of your assigned location
Nice To Haves
- Automotive industry experience preferred

Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop relationships with car dealerships, towing yards, and auction companies
- Identify and secure new vehicle purchasing opportunities
- Evaluate vehicle values using company software and market data
- Upload and manage vehicle inventory within the company management system
- Negotiate purchases professionally and effectively
- Utilize automotive knowledge to accurately assess vehicle value and demand
- Work both company-provided leads and self-generated prospects
