About The Position

Southwest Dealer Services: Acrisure Protection Group | KARR Security is seeking a motivated trainee to install vehicle alarm security and GPS tracking units. The company provides basic tools and training to help the employee develop the knowledge and skills needed for the role. This is an hourly, nonexempt position reporting directly to the Operations Manager. The position is full-time, based primarily on dealership lots, with business hours Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The listed salary range is $3,000–$4,000 per month, base plus commission.

The company serves automotive dealers with financial and insurance products, reinsurance and dealer-participation programs, anti-theft programs, and dealer-focused property, casualty, and workers’ compensation offerings. It has a national network of more than 3,000 active dealers across all 50 states.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Fast learner and willing to learn.
• Attention to detail and flexibility.
• Ability to work well on a team and be motivated to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Manual dexterity and comfort using hand and power tools.

Nice To Haves

• 12-volt experience is preferred but not required.
• Audio/video installation experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install auto alarms and GPS tracking units.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Provide customer service to dealer clients and their customers.
• Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments.
