About The Position

Southwest Dealer Services: Acrisure Protection Group | KARR Security is seeking motivated, mechanically inclined individuals to train as Alarm Technicians. The company provides basic tools and training to help new hires install vehicle alarm security and GPS tracking units and develop additional skills. This hourly, nonexempt position reports directly to the Operations Manager. The work is performed primarily on dealership lots during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The listed salary range is $3,000–$4,000 per month, base plus commission.

Requirements

• High school education level.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to complete the pre-hire process, which includes a criminal background check, motor vehicle report review, physical abilities evaluation, and verification of identity and eligibility to work in the United States upon hiring.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Manual dexterity and comfort using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work well on a team and independently.

Nice To Haves

• 12-volt experience is preferred but not required.
• Audio/video installation experience is preferred but not required.
• Fast learner and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Install auto alarms and GPS tracking units.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Provide customer service to dealer clients and their customers.
• Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments.
