About The Position

As an Avro RJ Captain with Summit Air, you are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft with a passion for customer service and prioritizing safety for our clients. As we expand our fleet in Quebec and enter new markets to support our growing client base, we are seeking local, skilled RJ Pilots to join our team either in Ottawa or Montreal. Requirements

Current Canadian ATPL
4000 hours Total Time
2500 MPIC (greater than 5700 kg)
Current Passport with the ability to travel to the United States and Europe
Ability to obtain Canadian Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
Strong Commitment to safety culture
Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Nice To Haves

500 hours on a Jet aircraft an asset
High Arctic experience an asset
Glass cockpit experience an asset

Responsibilities

Operate Avro RJ aircraft safely and efficiently throughout Northern Canada as PIC in accordance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines
Stay current with all available flight information, including weather, and applicable NOTAMs where available, and verify type A flight plans for accuracy
Participate in the aircraft pre-flight inspection, as well as all post-flight duties
