The Captain for Administration and Operations Bureaus is responsible for providing leadership, management, and motivation to one of two law enforcement bureaus that comprise the University Police Department. Operations Bureau and Administration Bureau collectively provide twenty-four-hour professional police services to the campus community, ensuring that it remains a safe and vibrant environment. The Captain will assist the Chief of Police with promoting a Community Capital Policing model that consists of building wholesome relationships with the campus community and working in partnership with other campus and community stakeholders. The Captain will also be expected to assume command of the Department in the absence of the Chief of Police.
