About The Position

Join Dell Technologies Capital’s Venture Organization as an undergraduate intern in Palo Alto, California. In a dynamic, fast-paced corporate venture environment, you will support and drive cross-portfolio activities. The work includes delivering market analyses, synthesizing business and investment strategies, researching startups and early-stage investment opportunities, supporting deal-execution infrastructure development, and assisting with financial modeling. The role requires strong organization and communication, the ability to manage multiple tasks to deadlines, and effective interaction across levels of management.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a technical field preferred.
• Regularly reviews technology blogs and research reports, such as VentureBeat and TechCrunch.
• Some working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Preliminary understanding of the venture capital industry and its structure.
• Able to collaborate and work independently, including completing small projects for quick implementation with little direction.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, including the ability to handle multiple project tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct early-stage venture market analysis, map startup landscapes, size market opportunities, and assess emerging venture areas.
• Research and develop market intelligence overviews and strategic connections to Dell Technologies.
• Assist with creating, planning, executing, and communicating programs and initiatives.
• Conduct primary research across a broad range of technology and business areas.
• Support cross-portfolio activities, business and investment strategy analysis, potential investment scans, deal-execution infrastructure development, and financial modeling.
