About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
Three (3) year of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management in a private, public, government or military environment
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
All US-based 3M full time employees will need to sign an employee agreement as a condition of employment with 3M. This agreement lays out key terms on using 3M Confidential Information and Trade Secrets. It also has provisions discussing conflicts of interest and how inventions are assigned. Employees that are Job Grade 7 or equivalent and above may also have obligations to not compete against 3M or solicit its employees or customers, both during their employment, and for a period after they leave 3M.

Nice To Haves

Five (5) year of combined experience in Capital equipment and/or Facilities project management in a private, public, government or military environment
Prior experience with web line, converting, material handling, or automation equipment
Team player with the ability to contribute in a matrix environment
Experience designing, specifying, debugging, and commissioning custom equipment a plus
Proficient user of typical business, office, and technical software for tasks such as spreadsheet computation, project presentation, scheduling, managing budgets and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Manage project timelines and budgets for assigned projects
Lead a cross functional team to execute multiple projects simultaneously
Interact with multiple discipline teams including 3M plant personnel, consultants, and suppliers
Estimate capital equipment and installation costs
Protect 3M intellectual property
Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
