About The Position

The Capital PMO Co-Op works collaboratively with Hershey’s Capital PMO Team to help ensure the company meets its multi-million-dollar capital budget. The role provides exposure to Capital Budget Group Owners across Hershey facilities around the world, including Confectionery, Salty, and International manufacturing sites. The co-op proactively reviews, analyzes, and assesses capital project data.

The position is based in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and runs from January through May 2027. It is full-time.

Requirements

• Be pursuing a BS degree in an Engineering, Supply Chain, or Finance-related major.
• Have completed at least two years of coursework.
• Be able to communicate and work with a wide variety of audiences.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Be detailed and process-oriented.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship experience.
• Power BI experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit submissions for the quality of key deliverables and compliance with Hershey’s capital stage-gating process.
• Use Power BI to transform and manage a Capital Engineering dashboard with current information on capital expenditures, project approvals, resource demand, and year-over-year performance.
• Help improve the Capital Engineering data management strategy to support a more automated data environment.
• Support delivery of the in-year capital plan and development of the following year’s capital plan.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for one or more budget groups that execute capital projects.
• Support the weekly capital stage-gate governance cycle by setting meeting agendas, monitoring document compliance, administering meetings, and recording follow-ups.
