About The Position

This role processes transactions supporting Derivative Trading, Securities Trading, Loan Trading, or Agency Services lines of business within Capital Markets Operations. Core operational tasks may include client onboarding, trade capture, securities settlement and clearance, confirmations, client support, and margin or collateral processing. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment, multitasking, communicating effectively, and entering data accurately and efficiently. It also involves coordinating internally and communicating with external clients and internal partners in Technology, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Sales, and Trading.

The role processes transactions according to its assigned function and independently completes daily tasks within specified time parameters. It interacts with clients and teammates to process requests and resolve issues, and ensures that functional procedures and controls are followed and maintained. Other duties may be assigned, and specific activities may change over time.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree, or equivalent education and related training, or 5–8 years of related experience.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel; proficiency may need to be demonstrated.
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in select capital markets products and technologies.
• English language fluency.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in bank or brokerage operations with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility.
• Knowledge of brokerage systems and thorough knowledge of the operational processing environment.
• FINRA Series 99 or Series 7.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational tasks that may include client onboarding, trade capture, securities settlement and clearance, confirmations, client support, or margin and collateral processing.
