About The Position

The Capital Markets & Corporate Development (CMCD) team at Lambda is central to the company's funding and scaling efforts. This team leads debt and equity capital raises, evaluates strategic transactions, and collaborates with executives, investors, and external advisors to execute significant deals. As a CMCD Intern, you will be responsible for creating a comprehensive database of market comparables for debt, equity, and M&A transactions. This work will directly influence ongoing capital raises and strategic decisions. You will have the opportunity to contribute to live transactions, develop investor-ready materials, and interact with senior stakeholders within the company and with external partners.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an MBA
  • Prior investment banking experience or equivalent (e.g., corporate development, private equity, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in TMT coverage, leveraged finance or M&A
  • Experience executing debt and equity transactions for high-growth and / or capital intensive industries

Responsibilities

  • Build and own consolidated databases for debt, equity and transaction comparables to support live deal execution
  • Evaluate and present potential M&A targets, including preparing supporting financial analyses
  • Own deal-level financial models including cash flow waterfalls, merger models and potential investment return models
  • Prepare board-facing materials and analysis to support transaction decisions
  • Interface with lenders, bankers, advisors, strategic partners and founders
