About The Position
SB Energy is seeking motivated MBA candidates or recent college graduates for Summer Internships focused on Capital Markets. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative infrastructure company, backed by SoftBank Group. Interns will gain insight into various aspects of SB Energy's business, focusing on the renewable energy and digital infrastructure industries. The internship provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and develop technical skills. A key focus will be on acquiring finance, analytical, and execution skills through participation in key Capital Markets initiatives and live projects impacting the company's financing activities. The role requires a strong understanding of infrastructure finance and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- MBA candidates or recently graduated from a college or university with a degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
- Strong interest in energy, digital infrastructure, and finance
- Strong Excel skills required
- High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work under tight timelines
- Ownership mentality, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to ask questions
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Financial modeling experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Support on active financing transactions
- Help manage due diligence workstreams
- Support the preparation of internal approval materials
- Assist with financial modeling and analysis
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across the company for data validation
