About The Position

The Business & Operations Track consists of three rotational assignments completed over two years, providing exposure to the people, processes, and functions that support Capital Group's business and long-term success. Rotations may include opportunities in areas such as Investment Operations, Investment Enablement, Global Business Services, and Additional Business Functions. Across rotations, associates may contribute to strategic initiatives, analyze business challenges, develop recommendations for stakeholders, identify opportunities to improve processes and operational effectiveness, and collaborate across teams to support business priorities. In addition to on-the-job learning, associates participate in Capital Group's Core Skills Academy, a shared development experience that includes professional skills training, business acumen development, networking opportunities, leadership exposure, and career development resources.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and a commitment to continuous development
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and approach complex challenges thoughtfully
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Support trade operations, data management, reporting, and operational controls that enable the investment process and help deliver strong client outcomes.
  • Partner with investment teams on business analysis, project management, operational support, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to enterprise functions such as Finance, Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, Procurement, Enterprise Services, Workplace Experience, Communications, and other teams that support Capital Group's operations and strategic priorities.
  • Gain exposure to teams that drive organizational effectiveness, business performance, and enterprise outcomes across the firm.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, analyze business challenges, develop recommendations for stakeholders, identify opportunities to improve processes and operational effectiveness, and collaborate across teams to support business priorities.
