About The Position

As a Capital Fundraiser, you will play a pivotal role in securing the necessary capital to support the company's property acquisition initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of capital markets, financial modeling, and a strong network within the investment community. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years capital raising experience and a proven track record of fundraising in the family office sector. This position reports directly to the CEO, and is an in-office position. We will only respond to those candidates based in Los Angeles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CFA) preferred.
  • Proven experience in capital markets fundraising within the real estate or property management sector.
  • ldeal candidate will have a proven track record of 5-10 years capital raising experience.
  • Capable of making the entire fundraising, investor relations and marketing communications function their own and state of the art.
  • Strong financial analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Established network within the investment community.
  • In-depth knowledge of multi-family real estate markets and investment strategies.
  • A real estate industry fundraiser with an impressive and easily verifiable track record of fundraising on behalf of co-mingled funds, separate accounts, and one-off investments.
  • Proven track record of raising equity in the Family Office sector.
  • Possesses extensive relationships with HNW/UHNW individual investors, family offices and private wealth organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure capital for property acquisitions.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with HNW individuals, family offices, private equity firms, family offices, and other potential funding sources.
  • Prepare compelling investment presentations and pitch materials for potential investors.
  • Effectively communicate the company's investment thesis and strategy to existing and prospective investors.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscape to inform fundraising strategies and investment decisions.
  • Provide market insights to the Acquisitions team to support their decision-making process.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders on fundraising progress and financial performance.
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with current investors, fostering a sense of trust and confidence in the company's ability to deliver returns.
