About The Position
Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring a Capital Engineer on behalf of a food and agricultural company for its facility in Eddyville, Iowa. The position is part of the client’s Food Enterprise, which serves food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with ingredients and branded products across areas including poultry, beef, eggs, protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa, and chocolate. The Capital Engineer will plan and support capital project engineering deliverables at the Eddyville facility, focusing primarily on small- to medium-sized capital projects from design through startup. The role also oversees construction management and project documentation. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with a base salary of $100,000 to $110,000. Relocation assistance is available. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Previous experience in the chemical or food-related industries.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Develop capital project scopes, schedules, project management deliverables, and best practices.
- Coordinate staffing and develop construction, commissioning, and startup plans.
- Lead equipment specification and procurement.
- Develop, review, and award bid packages for equipment and labor.
- Plan and support capital project engineering deliverables for the Eddyville facility.
- Oversee construction management and project documentation.
