About The Position
The Capa Server works in Four Seasons Resort Orlando’s 17th-floor rooftop steakhouse and bar, serving Spanish-influenced cuisine in a romantic setting. The restaurant offers Florida seafood, small plates, and grilled cuts, with an open kitchen, wood-burning grill, and outdoor patio overlooking nightly fireworks. The server provides knowledgeable, attentive service by greeting guests promptly and courteously, explaining menu items and preparation methods, adapting to guest preferences, and guiding guests through the menu to create a customized dining experience. This role requires thriving in a fast-paced, large-team environment.
Requirements
- Must already possess legal work authorization for employment in the United States.
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, large-team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years of prior fine-dining experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of steaks, including cuts and temperatures, is preferred.
- Impressive salesmanship in guiding guests through the menu and identifying upsell opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items and preparation methods.
- Greet each guest promptly, courteously, and graciously, with eye contact and a smile.
- Read each table and adapt service to create a customized guest experience.
- Guide guests through the menu and maximize revenue through upselling opportunities.
