Canvass Team Lead
About The Position
All Weather Seal of West Michigan is hiring a Canvass Team Lead to lead our Northern Michigan Field Marketing team. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll develop canvassers, drive appointment generation, and help fuel the growth of one of Michigan's premier home improvement companies. This isn't a desk job—you'll coach in the field, lead by example, and help your team reach new levels of success every day. As the Canvass Team Lead, you'll lead, coach, and develop a team of Field Marketing Representatives while helping generate qualified homeowner appointments.
Requirements
- Leadership experience in canvassing, field marketing, sales, or customer-facing roles preferred
- Proven success in appointment setting, lead generation, or commission-based performance
- Strong communication, coaching, and motivational skills
- Competitive mindset with a passion for developing people
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
- Comfortable working outdoors and leading in the field
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Lead daily canvassing activities alongside your team
- Coach and mentor canvassers through ride-alongs and field training
- Conduct daily team meetings, goal-setting sessions, and performance reviews
- Recruit, onboard, and train new Field Marketing Representatives
- Foster a positive, competitive, and accountable team culture
- Monitor appointment generation, lead quality, and conversion metrics
- Track individual and team KPIs, including appointments set, demos completed, and conversion rates
- Identify coaching opportunities and implement performance improvement plans
- Celebrate team successes while maintaining high accountability standards
- Engage homeowners through face-to-face conversations in residential neighborhoods
- Generate qualified leads and schedule free in-home consultations
- Represent All Weather Seal professionally within the community
- Lead by example through personal production and strong work ethic
