About The Position

VIBE Cannabis is seeking a responsible, experienced Transportation Team Member for its St. Louis, Missouri facility, with deliveries throughout Missouri. The role includes preparing and loading vehicles, verifying orders, transporting and delivering items to approved customers and contacts, and maintaining compliance with state and company regulations. Team members interact with customers daily, so a positive attitude and friendly demeanor are important. Prior security experience is preferred; active weapon and security permits receive special consideration.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least 21 years of age.
Willingness to participate in an extensive background check.
Driver's license and reliable transportation.
Computer literacy with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work in loud areas, dark or bright environments, and low-oxygen areas.
Ability to lift 75 pounds.
Ability to work with or around caustic and potentially harmful chemicals.
Understanding of compliance regulations and adherence to SOPs for specialized areas.

Nice To Haves

Security experience.
Weapons training.
Experience driving 12-foot box trucks or larger.
Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field.
Knowledge of the cannabis plant and related products.
Active weapon and security permits receive special consideration.

Responsibilities

Perform daily pre-trip inspections and complete required paperwork.
Pick up and transport parcels, packages, and other incoming or outgoing deliverables in accordance with DHSS requirements and standards.
Coordinate with supervisors to track incoming and completed orders.
Protect packages and follow transportation requirements, including for frozen or perishable deliveries.
Comply with relevant safety regulations.
Review and verify manifests for accuracy at each approved stop.
Track, secure, and accurately deliver items to an approved point of contact.
Load and unload the vehicle safely using proper lifting techniques.
Follow security procedures at all facilities.
Follow company policy for vehicle fueling, maintenance, and cleanliness.
Follow approved delivery schedules, routes, and drop-off and pick-up areas.
Maintain the integrity of confidential information.
Adhere to DHSS regulations.
Use safe driving procedures.
Provide friendly customer service to every client and create positive experiences for internal and external customers.
Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned.
