Cannabis Cultivation Support
About The Position
Trimmr LLC is staffing local talent with licensed operators for the fall cannabis harvest, which typically runs through October and possibly into November. This seasonal, full-time position offers flexible shifts, with up to 52 hours available per week (minimum of 3 days of 8-hour shifts). Employees will earn W-2 wages, build a work record, and gain industry experience. Work begins immediately, and employees can choose available shifts that fit their schedule. Tasks may include planting, weeding, defoliating, harvesting, hand trimming, bucking, packaging, following farm SOPs, maintaining cleanliness, and quality standards. Both indoor and outdoor tasks are involved, and the job requires comfort with strong scents, varying weather conditions, and being on your feet.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years old (NYS OCM requirement)
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S. (provide valid I-9 documentation)
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with flexible gig work
- Reliable transportation to various local farm and processing sites
- Able to stand or work on your feet throughout the shift
- Able to perform repetitive and strenuous motions
- Able to crouch and bend
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable working indoors/outdoors around strong scents and varying weather
