Cannabis Cultivation Support
About The Position
Trimmr LLC is staffing local talent with licensed operators for the fall cannabis harvest in Fort Edward, NY. This seasonal, full-time position offers flexible hours, with up to 52 hours available per week through October and possibly into November. Employees will earn W-2 wages, build a work record, and gain industry experience. The work involves various tasks in cannabis cultivation and post-harvest processing, including planting, weeding, defoliating, harvesting, hand trimming, bucking, and packaging. Compliance with farm SOPs, maintaining cleanliness, and quality standards are also key responsibilities. Both indoor and outdoor tasks are involved, and candidates should be comfortable with strong scents, varying weather conditions, and being on their feet for extended periods.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years old (NYS OCM requirement)
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S. (provide valid I-9 documentation)
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with flexible gig work
- Reliable transportation to various local farm and processing sites
- Able to stand or work on your feet throughout the shift
- Able to perform repetitive and strenuous motions
- Able to crouch and bend
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable working indoors/outdoors around strong scents and varying weather
