Our rehabilitation service is led by Dr. Rick Wall, whose work has helped shape the field of canine rehabilitation medicine. Licensed Veterinary Technicians may be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus for this position! As a full-time CCRP Technician, you'll become an integral member of a collaborative rehabilitation team, providing individualized care to patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, neurologic disease, sports injuries, and chronic mobility conditions.

Requirements

Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) preferred
Licensed/Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred (or equivalent rehabilitation experience)
Strong understanding of rehabilitation techniques and patient handling
Exceptional communication and client education skills
A positive attitude and genuine passion for helping patients regain function and mobility
Someone who thrives in a collaborative, learning-focused environment
Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance
Practices OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE

Responsibilities

Assisting with comprehensive rehabilitation treatment plans
Operating underwater treadmill and therapeutic exercise programs
Performing laser therapy and other rehabilitation modalities
Monitoring patient progress and documenting outcomes
Educating and partnering with clients throughout their pet's recovery
Collaborating closely with veterinarians and the rehabilitation team to deliver exceptional patient care
