About The Position
Elmer Chocolate is the oldest family-owned chocolate company in America. Its Ponchatoula factory is the second-largest manufacturer of Valentine boxed chocolate in North America. Candy Associates monitor automated robotic machinery and ensure equipment is clean and running smoothly. The role is based in a chilled, air-conditioned factory and involves working alongside other Candy Associates.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and pass a drug screen.
- Reliable transportation.
- Dependable attendance.
- Ability to read and follow instructions.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to stoop, bend, reach, use force, carry, push or pull, and occasionally lift less than 50 pounds.
- Ability to apply manual dexterity and specified visual acuity.
