Cross Country is seeking a Candidate Engagement Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for attracting, evaluating, and securing highly qualified candidates efficiently. The goal is to ensure optimal staffing levels that align with client needs and to maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to support the company’s growth and reputation in a competitive market. The position operates from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PST.

Requirements

  • 1 year of sourcing/recruiting experience, 2+ years preferred.
  • 1 year of office experience
  • Strong Computer/Technological skills using Microsoft Office and recruitment software/tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and sufficient experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage targeted marketing and outreach strategies to connect with experienced candidates.
  • Highlight competitive pay, benefits, assignment variety, company reputation, and expansive support to appeal to candidates.
  • Determine experience, education, active licensure, active certifications.
  • Develop a database of pre-qualified candidates for various regions for different periods of the school year.
  • Use Symplr CTM and Bullhorn tools to nurture relationships with potential candidates.
  • Use external database platforms to mine and engage with potential leads.
  • Work closely with Recruiters and Account Managers to understand school and state requirements.
  • Ensure candidates meet specialty skills and licensure needs promptly.
  • Track handoffs

  • Complete work history with gaps explained

  • Follow-up task for scheduled call set and aligned to Recruiter receiving.
