About The Position

Gervino Group is seeking motivated, relationship-driven Candidate Engagement Partners (CEPs) to join their expanding recruiting team. This is a remote 1099 contractor opportunity suitable for experienced recruiters, sourcers, or recruiting professionals who excel at identifying talent, building relationships, conducting candidate interviews, and maintaining the momentum of recruiting processes. The CEPs will focus on sourcing, candidate engagement, screening, and pipeline management, enabling the internal team to handle client relationships, submissions, offer negotiation, and business development. Ideal candidates are proactive, organized, communicative, and passionate about connecting people with career opportunities.

Requirements

  • Previous recruiting, sourcing, staffing, or talent acquisition experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable conducting phone and virtual interviews
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple openings simultaneously
  • Organized, responsive, and proactive with follow-through
  • Strong sourcing and candidate engagement abilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-driven work ethic
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, or sourcing tools is preferred
  • Must work from own equipment and sourcing resources, including computers, phones, internet access, and preferred recruiting tools or subscriptions.

Responsibilities

  • Source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, job boards, and creative sourcing strategies
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and screening interviews
  • Evaluate candidate experience, communication style, motivations, and overall alignment with client opportunities
  • Maintain ongoing communication with active candidates throughout the interview process
  • Follow up with active candidates a minimum of twice weekly to ensure engagement, movement, and updated status tracking
  • Provide detailed candidate notes, feedback, and qualification summaries to the internal team
  • Help maintain recruiting flow, pipeline organization, and overall process momentum
  • Partner closely with leadership regarding role priorities, sourcing strategy, and candidate feedback
  • Support recruiting efforts across multiple industries and role types nationwide
