About The Position

The role involves overseeing the full cycle of Canadian business immigration matters, including work permits, Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIAs), employer compliance, and permanent residence applications through various Canadian immigration pathways.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in any Canadian province or territory.
  • 4+ years of business immigration experience, especially with work permits, LMIAs, Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, and permanent residence applications.
  • Interest in digital upskilling and technology innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and filing Canadian business immigration applications and requests, including Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIAs), work permits, and permanent residence applications through Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), and other pathways.
  • Developing immigration strategies to address business needs while managing compliance and mitigating risk under Canadian immigration laws.
  • Advising clients on regulatory changes and their potential impacts on employees and family members.
  • Leveraging technology and automation to streamline processes and improve client experience.
  • Participating in client meetings to communicate Vialto Law’s holistic and strategic approach, underscoring our commitment to empathy and value.
