About The Position

Part-time adjunct faculty position in the Department of Clinical & Applied Movement Sciences. Adjunct faculty are employed on a semester-by-semester basis, as needed, and are non-tenure-earning. Position responsibilities include but not limited to: Teach assigned course(s) in accordance with the approved syllabus and course schedule. Hold scheduled office hours with frequency and modality as negotiated with the acting program director and department chair. Mentor students. The Clinical & Applied Movement Sciences Department (CAMS) at UNF offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Undergraduate students can pursue a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Our Graduate programs include a Master of Science in Health with a concentration in Kinesiology and Lifestyle Medicine and a Master of Science in Athletic Training. Requirements

  • Kinesiology UG: earned master’s degree in Exercise Science (or related field)
  • Kinesiology grad: earned doctoral degree in Exercise Science (or related field)
  • Athletic Training: earned doctoral degree in biomechanics, exercise science, sports medicine, or a related field; certification and good standing with the Board of Certification; current Florida licensure or eligible for athletic training licensure in Florida
  • Applicants should be prepared to provide the following required documents: Current curriculum vitae, Cover letter

  • The selected candidate will be required to submit official transcripts (and, as applicable, U.S. degree equivalency evaluations) documenting the conferral of their qualifying academic credentials by the date of hire.
