About The Position

The Campus Worship Associate is a shepherd who combines musical excellence with a passion for discipleship. Working with the Worship Pastor throughout the week, the associate strategizes how to foster a culture of worship at the ER campus. The role also leads and develops the Youth Culture (YC) worship team, helping students grow musically and spiritually and encouraging the student body to hunger to experience and worship God. The position focuses on discipling and developing worship teams committed to leading people to Jesus and cultivating an authentic, Christ-centered worship culture. The position may require licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Worship Pastor to strategize how best to lead the ER campus in a culture of worship.
• Take primary responsibility for leading and developing the Youth Culture (YC) worship team.
• Recruit students into the Youth Culture worship ministry.
• Develop students’ musical gifts and abilities.
• Shepherd students spiritually and pastorally.
• Help develop a hunger to experience and worship God among the student body.
• Disciple and develop worship teams committed to leading people to Jesus and to musical excellence.
• Cultivate an authentic, Christ-centered worship culture committed to worship and ministry.
